We propose a structured 6-month pilot (Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) with clear KPIs and evaluation pathways. Successful pilots will support NIHR funding applications, NHS Supply Chain inclusion, and wider roll-out. We provide devices, training, and evaluation support to partner Trusts, and collaborate with AHSNs and NHSE innovation teams for adoption.

We propose a structured pilot at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, evaluating ShuttleSling’s impact on injury reduction, transfer efficiency, and staff wellbeing. The pilot will include training, clinical champion engagement, and data-driven evaluation.

Data
Comprehensive data collection will track key indicators, injury incidents, MSK-related absences, transfer time, staff feedback, and cost implications. Insights will inform ROI modelling and future NHS adoption pathways.
Step 3
NHS Supply Chain
Post-pilot, ShuttleSling™ will align with NHS Supply Chain frameworks for simplified procurement, supported by NIHR evidence generation and AHSN partnerships to enable regional rollout.
